East Road is an exhibition layout that is exhibited both privately or as an associated member layout of the Scottish Diesel and Electric Group (SDEG).

Layout information

Currently, the overall layout size in feet and inches is 14.3 x 1.6 when fully assembled.

• The minimum operating space required behind the layout is 5 foot along the length of the layout.
• The total floor space required, including 3 feet access at either end of the layout is 132 sq feet.

• Rear operated with a minimum requirement of two operators.
• Located just north of Manchester, within easy reach of the M60/M62 motorways.
• The hire of a medium sized van is required to transport the layout to and from shows.
• To power the layout a minimum of two mains sockets are required at the venue.
• A large table to safely hold stock and two chairs are also required.
