It is with great pleasure that I am able to share the news that East Road has been invited to attend the BEYOND STEAM Model Railway Exhibition in Swindon. The event takes place over the weekend of the 4th & 5th July 2026 at the STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway, Swindon. Please click the image above for more information.
East Road is undergoing improvements to enable more playability and that everything on the layout serves a purpose. First up, we have a new addition, in the form of a stop board with a telephone instruction. This is to ensure all locomotives that enter the depot, stop and observe the instruction before entering the depot. Secondly, a Shunters Mess Cabin has been added to the layout.
